Charity

I’m lucky. However it may feel at times, I am. And anyone else reading this is probably lucky too. We were born into comparative riches in a safe part of the world which affords us leisure time and an escape from much of the suffering and problems that half of the world still face.

So I like to think about what I can do to help out those less fortunate, whether they’re on my doorstep or half a world away. More importantly, I like to actually do something - Charity.

Volunteering

I could serve up soup at the homeless kitchen, but I think that would be best left to someone who enjoys idle-chatter and has a nicer smile, so I try to volunteer where I can best use my skills. If anyone requires some volunteer work or services along the lines of the list below, get in contact.

  • Web Site Development and Hosting - If your charity needs a website, or revamp or…
  • Internet Marketing - To help get your charity noticed online.

Donating

I give when moved to throughout the year, when I see a good opportunity, but I’m always looking for worthy programmes, particularly in developing nations. I’ll try and list them here for my memory and if anyone else can suggest anything, please do! Also, if you are thinking about buying me a present for Xmas or my Birthday or something, I’d rather you donated to one of these and just let me know.
